About Alana

Alana Joy is an American interdisciplinary artist born in Eastern Europe and based in Naples, Florida. Her practice explores the space between chaos and order, self-reflection and transformation. Working within a metamodernist paradigm, she combines mixed media, symbolism and an intuitive visual language to investigate the relationship between inner experience and the world around us. Her artistic practice is informed by ideas of transformation, interconnectedness and self-discovery. Through visual symbols, material experimentation and layered imagery, Alana invites the viewer to look beyond familiar categories and experience art as a space for reflection and transformation.

“Art is a spiritual journey — an exploration of transformation, consciousness and our relationship with the world around us.”

As a metamodernist artist, Alana uses visual language, symbolism and mixed media to explore the meeting point between spirit and matter, the individual and the universal.

Her work invites the viewer into a process of reflection and transformation, searching for moments where established boundaries dissolve and new ways of seeing can emerge.

Alana Joy’s work navigates dualities — chaos and order, material and spiritual, fragmentation and unity. Her compositions use symbolism and energetic visual structures to explore self-creation, transformation and the continuously changing relationship between the inner and outer world.
